Parque Municipal de Alta Vila, Águeda

AgitLAB, a laboratory of contemporary experiments, creator and promoter of new trends and projects. In the form of artistic residences, the project aims to give public space in the city of Águeda an experimental laboratory function for artists to explore, experiment and develop their work and critical thinking, which usually take place inside the artist’s private studio, through interaction with the specific environment of the public space, within the scope of visual performance and sound art.

With the artistic proposals to be developed and presented and the dynamism of the different artistic areas framed in the themes inherent in the programs elaborated during the residence, will result in the methodological improvement of the production and communication of the activities, and contributing to a broader programming within the scope of the AgitÁgueda Festival already quite rooted in the culture of the city. The elaboration of a program that contemplates proposals of proven quality, conceptually coherent and compatible with the philosophy of interdisciplinarity that the festival, in its entirety, intends to transmit to the public betting on a contemporaneity that can attract new audiences to the city of Águeda.
